Studio X Classes

Studio X is proud to be at the fore-front of the latest , most innovative and highly appreciated programs being introduced in the fitness business. Offering a wide range of popular programs as part of our group fitness schedule we aim to go beyond the basic repertoire of fitness. A unique blend of workout techniques that will leave you feeling fresh, keep you inspired and add versatility to your training schedule.

If variety in your workout is what you require, our unique group classes will fill that requirement. Flexibility, cardiovascular (CV), resistance-training, core, and a combination of all these disciplines are available at the classes. . Training in a group is motivating and fun, while Participating in a range of exercises during class is an excellent way of building all-round fitness.

TRX

Change the way you train with TRX Suspension Training that include body weight exercises which simultaneously develops strength, power, endurance, mobility, durability, balance, flexibility, and core stability in the body by the user’s body weight against gravity to complete hundreds of exercises. This class is geared to make you sweat and push your limits.

Body Sculpt

Body Sculpt class combines weights and cardio for maximum results. The class is a full body workout and fast paced to burn and strength within the 60 minutes. The weights help to build muscle while the cardio helps burn calories. Exercises include, burpees, squats, kettlebell swing, tricep dips, mountain climbers etc.

Pilates

Pilates is a method of exercise that consists of low-impact flexibility and muscular strength and endurance movements. Pilates emphasizes proper postural alignment, core strength and muscle balance. This class is great for anymore who wants to tone, elongate muscles, increase core endurance and rehabilitate.

Tabata

Tabata is a 60 minute high-intensity interval training class, alternating between 20 seconds of max workouts followed by a 10-second rest for a total of eight rounds. Exercises consist of squats, burpees, lunges, jumping jacks and can incorporate weights using dumbells, medicine ball and kettlebell. These workouts are fast-paced and challenging to keep the body burning calories while gaining strength, stamina and endurance.

Circuit Training

Circuit Training is a form of body conditioning or resistance training using high-intensity workouts for 1 minute or 30 seconds per exercise. Circuit training targets strength building and muscular endurance. An exercise “circuit” is one completion of all prescribed exercises in the program. When one circuit is complete, one begins the first exercise again for the next circuit. Traditionally, the time between exercises in circuit training is short for minimal recovery period.

Kettlebell

Kettlebell exercises work on compound exercises; using more than one muscle at a time without isolation and hence increasing overall strength. An example of a strength workout combines kettlebell swings, front squats and reverse lunges. Further, kettlebells strengthen the tendons and ligaments, making the joints tougher and less-susceptible to injury.

Kickboxing

Melt fat, fast. Combining martial arts techniques and heart-pumping cardio, kickboxing is a high-energy workout that is guaranteed to burn calories and fat through punches and kicks!

Yogalates

Is a fusion of Pilates and Yoga: combining the benefits of strength training of Pilates and the flexibility of yoga. Benefits include flexibility, muscle toning and endurance of the mind and body.

Step Aerobics

Step Aerobics is a form of aerobic exercise using  an elevated platform (the step). Set to music and choreography to increase your heart rate and burn calories!

Core

Physical strength starts in the core. Working the abdominal muscles for one hour through various exercises geared to strengthen the core. Classes include Ab N Bum, and Core Power Yoga.

HUMA ALI

I like to mix up routines and get results. I combine cardiovascular training and weight training with
important stretching technique

Zahra takes her experience and combines it with her passion for creating fun workouts that are effective
in burning fat, increasing strength and toning your body, leaving you re energized

Jeannette takes her experience and knowledge, packs it solid with enthusiasm and a can do
spirit to create workouts that burn fat, increase strength, sculpt the body and elate the spirit

She believes that the pressures faced in our daily lives are best dealt with through physical training as not only does exercise help one to de-stress physically, it is also the mental time that one needs away from one’s problems

Sabeen Rabbani

As someone who has avoided gym class since years I surprise myself by how often I would go in my mid 30’s—sometimes twice a day. I’ve lost weight, inches, and gained muscle mass. I’m stronger, fitter and doing classes that I probably couldn’t have done in my 20’s. Most importantly, today I’m much happier at 40 and have learned to enjoy exercising and to incorporate it into my daily life. Even though I cannot listen to my body my trainers at studio x are pure addiction!

The classes offered throughout the day are diverse and easily suit any age, gender or lifestyle.
For me, Studio X has become an important part of my Karachi culture.

Few months back I realized I needed to get myself back on track as far as my fitness was concerned. I chose Studio X because I found them to be extremely professional in their approach and they fit my needs for what I was looking for. My sessions are fun and exciting. I am happy to achieve the desired result and improved a lot in areas of strength, flexibility and gaining more muscle and overall felt good about myself.
The trainers here are great motivators and challenge me to always strive to push my personal boundaries to new heights. Especially Jeannette uses a holistic approach, incorporating flexibility, strength, posture, balance, endurance along with promoting a healthy eating regime. She is encouraging without being “soft” . She constantly motivates everyone to move through the difficult movements. Most importantly she ensures we are doing the moves correctly and reinforces how it will benefit us. The results have been significant. I am a leaner, more toned and far fitter than before.
My muscles and posture look fantastic. My workouts are challenging and full of variety. This is one of the best investments I have ever made because it never stops producing results!

My relationship with Studio X goes back a decade. When it was just a few of us in a small Zamzama gym. Over the years, not only the members have grown exponentially and the gym has got bigger and better, my  relationship with Jeanette and Studio X has also evolved into something personal. I get a sense of belonging here. Like you do with family. That says a lot about Jeanette. She has always been the soul and passion behind everything at Studio X. Workout with her feels personal because she takes interest and motivates everyone to aim higher. Challenge yourselves! That’s her motto…even though at times one feels like collapsing in her class!

Jeanette, fuzzy and all the other trainers are passionate about fitness and it shows through the energy and enthusiasm they bring to every session. Each class has an easy going comfortable atmosphere. They strive to make each workout challenging, creative and most importantly, fun! The trainers at Studio x place a high value on correct form with each exercise. They motivate me to push past my perceived limits to get results. I have incredible energy, my balance and flexibility have improved immensely and I’ve got great new muscles. I’ve been a member of studioX for the last eight odd years and have seen this place grow from a small two room studio into this fabulous, state of the art space. For a person like me who thrives only when I feel healthy and good about myself, StudioX has been my home away from home. I’ve come back twice with post baby weight to lose, and under the supervision and direction of the qualified and highly motivational instructors I’ve been able to shed my weight. The vibe, the people, the industrial space and the fantastic trainers make me come back for more every time. My day is incomplete without a workout at this Studio!
